Day 1Chandigarh to Shimla (125 km | 3.5 hrs)

  • On arrival at the Chandigarh airport/ Railway station, your Himachal holiday package will begin.
  • After pick-up from airport/ Railway station, you will drive to Shimla.
  • Situated at an altitude of 2,205 metres, Shimla, once the summer capital of the British, is now one of the most visited hill stations in the country. It offers a combination of splendid colonial buildings, snow-covered mountains, charming cottages, colourful market places, etc.
  • On reaching Shimla, check-in at the hotel.
  • Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2Local Sightseeing in Shimla and Kufri

  • After breakfast, enjoy an excursion to Kufri along with Local Sightseeing in Shimla.
  • Kufri is located 13 km from Shimla, a small hill station tucked away on the highest point in the region. Visit the Himalayan Wildlife Zoo which is home to rare antelopes, monal, the state bird and many other birds and felines. Also visit the Potato Plantations.
  • Your local sightseeing of Shimla will include the Vice Regal Lodge, perched atop the Observatory Hill. Formerly the residence of Lord Dufferin, it is made using only local woods of cedar and pine in a Scottish design and gives panoramic views of Shimla.
  • You will also visit the State Museum, a great collection of sculptures, handicrafts, coins, etc., the Mall and Church, the centre of Shimla’s social life which is always buzzing with activity, the Gaiety Theatre opened in the 19th century and the famous Scandal Point.

Day 3Shimla to Manali (265 km | 8 hrs)

  • Following breakfast, check-out from the hotel and leave for
  • Manali is a beautiful tourist spot at a height of 2,050 meters on the banks of Beas. The cool weather provides respite from the heat wave of the north. The place also offers opportunities for trekking, paragliding, kayaking, skiing, etc.
  • On arrival in Manali, check-in at the hotel.

Day 4Local Sightseeing of Manali

  • Today, after breakfast, you will enjoy a Full Day Sightseeing of Manali.
  • You will visit the Hidimba Temple, set amidst lush cedar forests, this temple is dedicated to Goddess Hidimba, wife to Bhim, the Manu Maharaj Temple, the only temple dedicated to Rishi Manu, it attracts a many pilgrims, the Tibetan Monastery, famous for producing handmade carpets and the Van Vihar Park, a great place to relax and enjoy with family and children with boating facility.
  • In the evening, you will be free to explore and shop at the Local Market.

Day 5Manali (Rohtang Pass on direct payment basis)

  • Post breakfast, you will get ready to visit Vashisth, Gulaba, and
  • Vashisht, dotted with ancient temples of Lord Rama and Sage Vashisht, is famous for its hot springs. It is 3 km from Manali.
  • Gulaba lies on the way to Rohtang Pass, surrounded by snow-capped mountains, lush green grasslands and the Beas River. Its stunning topography and peaceful surroundings make it a must-visit site in the Manali region.
  • Solang Valley is the ideal place for ski lovers, presenting breath-taking views of the Himalayas.
  • Alternatively, you can take the Optional Excursion to Rohtang Pass (on your own, on direct payment and subject to permit)
  • Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6Manali to Chandigarh (320 km | 8-9 hrs)

  • Next day after breakfast drive to Chandigarh airport / railway station for onward journey.
